Our company justify’s money spent on ROI.
We have 10Mb ethernet at our plant over many acres. It has 10 home run fiber segments to different buildings. We have 300 PC’s. We use Novell 4.11 servers as routers & various hubs to connect to 1 Cisco router that goes out frame relay to east coast. We have 256k w/384 burst on frame. We are peaking our burst limit all day long on the frame becauseof internet usage. Users say that internet is slow. We have a throughput of 2.8Mbs to 5.8Mbs depending on location.
