Our school has some Lattitude C840 laptops and we just got Lexmark E352dn printers. The printer is registered and does show an IP address. When I tried to add a port with either the host name or the IP address…the laptop wouldn’t see the printer. I have done this successfully with a few other laptops same model and printer set up. So what’s the deal…why will it work sometimes but not others.
