How to measure the CIR and the port spee

Hello,
i have 2 connections the first one is 256kbps/128CIR via famerelay and the second one is 256kbps leaseline point to point.

I want to check if i'm getting the right CIR and speed. My friend told me that some other telco offering 256kbps line but the true is it only gives half the circuit.

Please help as i don't want to pay something that is not right.

Copy a large file, take the transfer bps rate of the file transfer x8 and it should at least match your CIR.

You should have routers at each end of the
connection, Do you have access to them. If
you do the numbers in the configuration will
tell you the line speeds.

Don't have the access to the routers. Then you
can use a program called NetStat Live. Go to
