How to mitigate targeted attacks when VPN fails on DNS leak without turning off WebRTC ? IOS 18.5
My paid VPN vendor unfortunately fails DNS leak test as per another VPN vendor. Because no vendor can meet all my requirements, I am considering continuing using both.
However is it possible to mitigate DNS leak without turning off WebRTC?
If not, is there a shortcut to toggle WebRTC extension in Safari browser?

– Leaked DNS requests can enable phishing, man-in-the-middle attacks, or DNS spoofing (redirecting you to malicious sites)

https://support.myownconference.com/en/article/webrtc-protocol-in-apple-safari-browser-17c5f39/ says “There are no built-in settings to enable or disable WebRTC in Safari, as it is always enabled in modern versions of the browser.”
So, if that’s true, there is no way, so no shortcut, “to toggle WebRTC extension in Safari browser?” It would be quite a job to patch open source Chromium and make your own browser with such a setting.
Maybe another browser on iOS does have the option? It’s up to you to research that.
