I am new to networking, in fact I currently have 0 knowledge on the subject at hand.
I just bought a brand new laptop, and added a wireless adapter and router to our main computers cable modem. That main computer runs Win2kPro and I love it, and will not move it to XP.
This new laptop has XP Home.
Can I network the two together through the D-Link router?
I have them both connecting to the internet through the same router, but cannot seem to figure out how to access files on my main computer from this laptop.
I Greatly appreciate any words of wisdom on the subject matter that you have.
