How to open pwd-protectd Word/Excel file

By gaur ·
I have a couple of MS Word and Excel files and I want to open them. The problem is that they're password-protected? What do I do?

I need it urgently within say about 6 hours... is there anything I can do?

Unfortunately you probably will need to pay something. There are many password recovery programs out there (many under $50.00) that have free demo versions but the demo versions only work on 3 to 4 character passwords. You can do a search on Google for free password recovery and get quite a few hits. I've used Passware's recovery tools for Access and it works like a charm.

Sorry,
