How do you prestage a RIS acount on a client computer with no OS, and no GUID with Active Directory? Using Server 03 and installing WinXP Pro on the client??

Prestaged Client computers.

prestaging is creating a client account in Active Directory. Then you configure the RIS server to only respond to prestaged client accounts.

This way you can delivery a blank computer to a user. Connect it to the network via ethernet and with PXE install the O/S via unattended installation.

there is no such thing as prestaged clients that have no client account in Active Directroy. Prestaged means a client account in AD.
