How to put link on KMenu

OK..so you've installed the rpm and think you've found the main file in /usr/bin. How do you run it? How do you put a link onto KMenu to run it from the gui?

Find the executeable

right click, and create a shortcut. move said shortcut to the kdesktop, or put it in a folder elsewhere. As far as adding to the kmenu, I am unsure, as I run off desktop folders and shortcuts mainly

if you are running KDE, why use that pesky RPM? There are better package installers, such as the synaptec package manager
