Try the shutdown command

If your running XP you can create a scheduled task using the SHUTDOWN command. You can even shutdown (or reboot) remote computers across the network.

Hi

you can use a simple batch file do get this job done.
1) create a batch file xxx.bat.
2) Shutdown -r -t 14400 (content of the xxx.bat file).
3)Place it in the start up folder
Eg: C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Start Menu\Programs\Startup

Your system will reboot every 4 hours.
Hope this helps.
