I have a 2-3 year old Lennovo laptop with bad MOBO. I have bought a used Dell with Win XP. Lennovo’s website has nothing regarding being able to get the Win 7 recovered or able to move it. The license and key is on the bottom of the Lennovo. I paid for it with the laptop, why can’t I transfer it? I can get the hard drive out and put it in an external enclosure and see if I can set up a dual boot option? Suggestion and advice will be greatly appreciated.
