How to redirect shared printer to LPT1

Server: Windows 2000
Shared printer on the server: HP 1050C with Jet direct
Workstation: Windows 2000

For use with DOS program, there is a need to re-direct shared printer port (\\server\HP1050C) to LPT1 port on the workstation

net use ltp1: \\server\hp1050

You may also want to use the /persistent switch
NET USE [LPTx:] \\ComputerName\printer_share /PERSISTENT:YES

LPT1: is locked for non-admin users, so you need to use Devcon:
