hi! not sure how to explain this so i’ll just put it at the punch line: (home network)
I.(security restriction, RDP)
ISSUES: “remote connection may not be enabled or the pc is busy accepting new connection, network problems are preventing connection.”
II. HOW DO YOU CONFIGURE OR remote 3 pc’s that’s network (A. issues starts at I.)
III. (did/done) all 3 pc(s) firewall are disabled, and is enabled/set to accept remote destop connection.
(B. issues remains the same)
IV (NETWORK SETUP)
PC# 1: ON NETWORK SET UP WIZARD IS SET UP TO “CONNECT TO INTERNET DIRECTLY THRU RESIDENTIAL GATEWAY.” (want this to be main pc)
PC# 2&3: “CONNECTS DIRECTLY To the internet. DON’T HAVE A NETWORK CONNECTION YET.”
All 3 pc(s) are now network (same workgroup) together, file and printer sharing. (good) (but no remote connection still)
V. why can’t i remote any of the pc on my network, what is missing/done wrong? what is my main issues? Does my router setting (linksys that is configured by browser not by software installation) has to do with this?
last: i’ve tried DameWare, PCAnywhere and still nothing, ALTHOUGH I WAS ABLE TO REMOTE PC# 2 BY MSN MESSENGER (by invitation) although this is only for one-one assistant which i could really used. can any one give a walkthrough? Thanks in advance
