How to remove U3 software from my USB flash drive?

By jasper321 ·
Is there any programs that allow me to delete this program for free?

But you may very well find that the Thumb Drive no longer works. Many U3 Devices are not true size they use Compression Technology to compress Data to get the Storage Capacity.

Remove that Software and the drive stops working.

The makers just like to fill the drive with CRAP. I've just deleted it and it's been a happy little chappy...

I have this all the time. The Sandisk flash drives tend to be filled with (mostly outdated and useless-to-most-people) PHATware.

The first time you plug in the USB flash drive, it should pop up and tell you, with many bells and whistles, that you have applications on your drive, but it also gives you the option of using it as "Storage Only".

IF, for some reason, this isn't the case, simply right click on the drive in My Computer (assuming you're using M$ Windows) and format it.

EDIT: Another option is to "Explore" to your flash drive and just delete everything on it (making sure your Hidden Files are visible).

Hope it helps.
