removing entries

I'm not up to speed on Vista yet, but prior versions of Windows contained this information in the boot.ini file.

Open this in a text editor and carefully remove the offending entries assuming you are certain which the good one is.

vistas version of boot.ini

Got curious and googled this.
Found : Wubi adds an entry to the Windows boot menu which allows the user to run Linux

OK so we know we need to edit Boot menu.
Also found Vista no longer uses boot.ini instead it uses bcdedit.exe.

One forum says use at a dos prompt :

bcdedit.exe /delete {id of boot entry to remove}

Hope this gives you a push in the appropriate direction.
