How can a system be scanned using a current signature database. Problem encounter was installed McAfee was disbled by the virus, attempts to install a new NAV 2003 or 2004 installation and update were not possible. The unknown virus diabled the LiveUpdate on all versions and attempts. No component would launch, or allow registration to proceed. IE 6 online scanning was disabled. Scan prior to install of NAV 2004 uses very old files and detects nothing and now way known to create an updated CD with the latest signatur files on it.
Any idea’s for the furture cases?
