I have a problem with my server 2003 standard, is a domain. everytime i logged on to it, just only see a green screen of 2k3. without the desktop icon, nothings else. Im sure the server still run normal ( its a domain controller, also a sql server). I search on web, to recover this case, just use task manager and New task : explorer.exe. But in my case, it will only open a new explorer window, not recover the desktop nor the taskbar. it mean, if i want to run which application i must go to task manager( ctrl + alt + del) and use the new task, and. This is the terrible thing, seem like back to command like of linux.
Please help me for this urgent case, i try to auto update but still can not.
