I have a Advent Notebook/Laptop Model 6480, my younger sister has added a boot password and now can’t remember it. Please can someone help me with reseting the BIOS to correct this, upon looking for the normal jumpers i found a row of 4 DIP switches and have no idea which positions they should be in. Advent/PCWorld won’t help as its out of warranty unless we pay a very large amount for just a piece of info.
