How to resize 2gig Dynamic Volume

By kpersaud ·
OS:Windows 2000 Server
I have change my boot dive from basic to dynamic volume in order to configure a mirror set. I did not save the configuration set. The boot drive is a 9gig, partition 2gig bootable. I like to increase the 2gig to 4gig. PartitionMagic does not work on dynamic volume. I cannot go back to basic volume, because I did not save the configuration. How can I get this done. Help???

How to resize 2gig Dynamic Volume

You cannot extend the volume even though it is dynamic because it is the system/boot volume. If you didn't put the OS on the volume you would have been fine, but now that the OS is on there it can't be changed.

This information incidentally is from the Microsoft MCSE Training Kit for Windows 2000 Server.
