This is a Exchange 5.5 and Outlook 2000 client with offine syn enable. Tech support has a user laptop reformated, his ‘.ost’ file was backup on the network.
After reinstall the user Windows 95 and connected Outlook to Exchange server. All of hisemails and contacts were disappeared. The Tech called me, I check the user mailbox…found he got total of 14xx items and about 4.8 MB of data on his mailbox.
I copied his old OST file to his local… that did not work? I hope I don’t have to restore from backup tape!
Any help or suggestion will be appreciated.
