I had a Dell Inspiron 1150 laptop with XP that bit the dust about a year ago. I kept the hard drive and inserted it in a portable hard drive case, in case I needed to access files from it, which I’ve done from time to time.
Recently, I remembered I had some “hidden” pictures on it, but when I go to the location, and try to open the files, I get a message that says I don’t have permission to open them. I can see the (“greyed” out) icons for the photos but just can’t open any of them, even if I try to remove the “hidden” designaton from them.
Anyone know how I’d be able to open these files?
