How to route Layer 2 Vlan over the WAN

by kgabo . Updated 14 years, 8 months ago

Our adsl network is a private network separate from the cumpus network, recentely the billing guys wanted to access the adsl network to extract some billing infor. We created a layes 2 vlan (vlan10) and and then bridged it over the campus network and asigned some ports so that some machines could acess this network only.

That worked fine locally. Now they want us to extend this to the remote stations over the wan link (frame-relay) where there is a 1700/1900/2800 and the local vlan is the default vlan1.

The question is how do i route a layer 2vlan over the wan. or simply the best way to do this..?
