How can I set up more than 1 modem on my win2k Advanced server to simultaneously use more than 1 modem for higher bandwidth of dial up connections?

Create a dial-up connection as usual for dial-up to your ISP.

Then add another modem. Once you have more than 1 modem installed, you will have more options for that dial-up connection.

You can select which modem to use to dial-up to the ISP. You check both the modem if you want both to be used.

You also have an option to make all the devices to call the same number or to call different number. If you want them to call same number, make sure your ISP allows that.

What your trying to do is setup a multilink modem configuration.

I sent you via email (bleone@w-link.net)a link to MS knowledge base article Q244071 - Enabling Multilink and BAP on a Computer Running Windows 2000 Server.

You will also need an additional phone
line(s) for each modem you install to get the most bandwidth.
