How to shut the opened port in win2k

Ports are held open by applications/Sevices running in the background. To close the ports, you have to stop the apps or modify them.
For example, to shut down TCP port 139, disable NetBIOS over TCP/IP.
To shut down TCP port 445, you have to disable File & Print Sharing (also kills UPD ports 137 & 13.
Port 80 running? Stop WWW service.
Port 21? Kill the FTP server.

It just depends on what ports you want to shut down.
