How to stop-Enter your Network Password

By rentawash ·
How do I prevent the "Enter your Network Password for Microsoft Networking" dialogue box from showing up at every boot. System is Win 98SE, and in Network Properties I have selected the "Windows Logon" as the "Primary Network Logon" checkbox.

Try this: search for and delete ALL files named *.pwl. Restart the computer. When the logon box comes up, don't enter anything, just click OK (NOT cancel). Restart. The logon box should be gone.

I am not having trouble eliminating the Windows logon, it is the "Microsoft Networking" logon dialogue.
