How to team port a windows machine?

I was trying to find out if someone knows how to team port a windows machine where you have multiple nic cards connected to a switch....

You can do this by using either 3Coms solution or Intels. There is a S/W that makes this possible as well but it is fairly expensive and not as robust. I would recommend going with 3Coms Server NICs as the load balancing and Teaming functionality comes on the CD that comes with the NIC.

Set-up is very easy and you can support up to 8 Nics in a group with one IP addy, this will allow for load balancing, redundancy and more bandwidth to the server.

Teaming requires support on both the switch end and on the workstation/server end. That having been said, the challenge is to find a solution that works on both ends and does so without causing routing, ARP, spanning-tree or applications problems.
One combination that I know works is Cisco switches and Compaq's NIC teaming (the Compaq NIC uses an Intel chipset) but there may be others.
