    How to transfer songs, movies, photos, playlists, TV shows, podcasts among

    This guide shows you how to transfer songs, movies, photos, playlists, TV shows, and podcasts from PC to iPod, iPod to PC/iTunes, Mac to iPod, iPod to Mac/iTunes, iPod to iPod with iPod Transfer and Mac iPod Transfer.

    Make preparations:
    For windows users, please download iPod Transfer.
    For Mac users, please download Mac iPod Transfer.

    Part one: Add files from PC/Mac to iPod
    Part two: Backup iPod files to PC/Mac
    Part three: Add iPod files to iTunes library
    Part four: Transfer files between iPods or iPhone

    Part one: Add files from PC/Mac to iPod
    This iPod Transfer helps you to add audio and video files from your PC/Mac to your iPod/iPhone, such as music and movie.

    1. Run the software, and connect your iPod/iPhone to your computer via USB cable. After done, the iPod/iPhone icon and its library and playlists will appear in the Device list.
    2. Open the library/playlist that you want to add files into.
    3. Click the Add files button, and choose the Add Files to List option that the button shows, and then locate the required files to your iPod/iPhone.

    Tip: If you want to add a folder containing all files you want, please click the Add files drop-down button, and choose the Add Folder to List option, and then locate the folder to your iPod/iPhone.

    Part two: Backup iPod files to PC/Mac
    This iPod Transfer helps you to export files from your iPod/iPhone to local, such as music, movies, TV shows, and podcasts, and more.

    1. Run the software, and connect your iPod/iPhone to your computer via USB cable. After done, the iPod/iPhone icon and its library and playlists will appear in the Device list.
    2. Open the library/playlist that you want to export files, and then check the file(s) you want to export in the file list.
    3. Click the Backup to local button to start exporting files.

    Part three: Add iPod files to iTunes library
    This iPod Transfer helps you to export files from your iPod/iPhone to your iTunes library, such as music, movies, TV shows, and podcasts, and more.

    1. Run the software, and connect your iPod/iPhone to your computer via USB cable. After done, the iPod/iPhone icon and its library and playlists will appear in the Device list.
    2. Open the library/playlist that you want to export files, and then check the file(s) you want to export in the file list.
    3. Click the Add to iTunes button to start exporting files.

    Part four: Transfer between iPods or iPhone
    You can also transfer files between your different iPods or iPhones.

    1. Run the software, and connect your iPods (but only one iPhone) to your computer. Then open a library/playlist from one of the devices.
    2. Find the songs/videos you want to transfer in the library/playlist and drag them to the target iPod/iPhone.

    1. When the software is started, it will modify the automatic synchronization of music/video to manual synchronization between iPod and iTunes.
    2. Please make sure that your iTunes is closed when you use iPod to iPod Transfer.
    3. There are some tips to be mentioned for the connection of iPhone.
    a. iTunes 7.3, or above version, is necessary for running iPod Transfer.
    b. iPod Transfer could only support one iPhone in each connection.
