Without using any third party s/w, is it possible to setup an NT server to trigger an alert to send a message to my desktop when a specific event number appears in the Event Viewer?
In Server Manager I already have my UID and ComputerName listed inthe Alerts list, but how do you create events or threshholds to trigger alerts?
Is this an SNMP function? Do I need to load the SNMP Agent on the server in question?
