How to Turn Off Account Credentials

By dreamsrequiem ·
How do I turn this blasted feature off? I am sick of being asked if I want to save my credentials each time I log into something on the internet.

Thank you.

If Internet Explorer

Menu Bar - Tools - Internet Properties - Content Tab - Auto Complete Button - Uncheck Prompt Me to Save Passwords (Or better yet the whole user names and passwords on forms).

That's Not It

I mean the thing that pops up on ANY internet browser on Vista Business that asks me if I want to save my credentials. I actually WANT the password save option, as that actually works appropriately.

Vista UAC?

by IC-IT In reply to That's Not It

If it is tied into the User Access Control then this link will help. I don't (want) use Vista, but if it is simply tied to Internet sites logons, you will get the prompt until the box (Prompt me)is unchecked. You can uncheck it and passwords and usernames will still be saved.

Not UAC Either

Its not the UAC, I turn that off as soon as I get a computer with Vista.
