How to use Htmlhelp in 64bit MFC application?

I support a 32bit MFC appliaction which uses HtmlHelp to provide context sensitive help. When compiled in 64bit all works well except Help crashes.
Anyone successfully called HtmlHelp from MFC under VC++ ?
Any help would be gratefully received.
