How to use social media for personal fundraising

By xAridx ·
Hello

I want to ask of how to reach out to people in social media such as Twitter for example to ask them to help me in my fundraising campaign that is for personal uses.

First of all, I do not use social media at all, except for reading news be it political, educational, or whatever else. I have very few connections both in real life or even online, so I do not know lots of people anyway, and I would say I do not actually care knowing more because I cannot help finding things to talk with people who do not have same interests as I.

Anyway, I am stuck in a bad situation here and I want to start language teaching while I am a graduate of engineering. Basically I now need a certification to start, but i do not have the money for that.

I heard that when we ask for fundraising then it is two types -please correct me if wrong, and add if you have-

1) With payoff:
Fundraising a product so can be used later as an example.
So, people are expecting something in return

2) With no payoff:
Charity and human issues as examples.
Usually something that may simply touched their hearts and feelings and feel paying or helping.

I may say I am the one a little below, but can be the first I believe.
As: I will take fundraising from students or learners, then I will be teaching them later with more bonus and free classes or sessions or so.

Here I just need quite a large amount of students..which is somehow silly to think about. Or what do you think.
The more logical is that I simply ask those who can afford to help just out of humanity or whatever.

So, for example people say ask celebrities, how can I do this?
Or, if I were to try to touch people's hearts and sing their song, how can it be?

And thanks in advance for anyone who may reply and share an informative and helpful opinion.

What you want is a GOFUNDME. What you wrote above could be taken as disingenuous.
