How Windows start up logo can be edited

By jar99_pk ·
Can any body tell me that how Windows Xp startup logo can be edited, customized or changed. Or if someone can identify the file (.dll or any) which contains this logo. I'm talking about that logo which comes in between BIOS screen and Windows Welcome screen.

To edit windows startup logo you can recompile "ntoskern.dll" (if not wrong). You can use "exescope" or "reshacker". Look at "1" in "BITMAP" resource. You can use 16 color bitmap to change or edit. But the problem is boot palette is differ than normal palette. Try to solve the puzzle for the pallete and make program to reallocate the 24-bitRBG palette to 4-bitRGB palette. (Note: If you want to know more about that please feedback to my email. I have create small apllication using VB6 to reallocate this palette).
