How would you remove virus from your computer using a notepad.

By editing the autorun.inf file that is found in the drives.Coz wen there is a virus you can easily see how it is being executed.

followed by the magic words. Then tear the sheet off the notepad and burn it by the light of a full moon in a cemetery. Be sure that all the magic smoke escapes.

I don't know the magic words! Must be why I've never been able to get it to work. Maybe I'll try "Klaatu barada nikto" next.

you're actually asking how to turn off autorun;
Click Start, click Run, type Gpedit.msc in the Open box, and then click OK.
Under Computer Configuration, expand Administrative Templates, and then click System.
In the Settings pane, right-click Turn off Autoplay, and then click Properties.

Note In Windows 2000, the policy setting is named Disable Autoplay.
Click Enabled, and then select All drives in the Turn off Autoplay box to disable Autorun on all drives.
Click OK to close the Turn off Autoplay Properties dialog box.
Restart the computer.
