We have numerous HP4000 printers here that keep losing their printer settings such as paper type and tray settings. This is common when external documents are printed as often the Go button has to be pressed to force documents to print from another tray. For example, if I was to print to the manual tray, set to hold ltrhead paper, I would have to press the GO button but it would only print to tray 2 (colour paper) or tray 3 (plain).
Does anybody have any suggestions as to what causes this or how to permenently fix the setting on the printers, so we are not continually having to reset them.
