I have an HP Laser Jet 5L printer that prints its self-test
page ok, but when connected to a PC (K6-300 MHz; 128 MB RAM
using W98 O.S) or laptop, the data will not transfer from the PC to the printer.
The printer software, fuse, drivers, cable connections and IRQ settings
are all ok. Why won?t it print? Note: Even though HP no longer supports
the 5L series, doesn?t mean it ready for the junk yard?the self-test works.
