I have an HP SCSI scanner on a NT Compaq station with Compaq Netelligent net card.
Do you know/did you heard of any reported problems when using HP SCSI scanners under NT? I tried with SP 4 and SP 5 installed, separately. When installing the dedicated software, it keeps returning a message: Error communicating with the scanner. Compaq and HP support teams have no answers.
No other special software and/or hardware installed (Office 97, Matrox Millenium video drivers only and SP kit v.4 or v.5).
BIOS disabled IRQ for video, disabled LPT and COM ports, internal modem installed).
