HP 6630 recovery CD

By warrenL ·
HP recovery CD for my HP 6630 computer has never worked. This is a known problem, and HP has a substitute program using DOS that did work at one time. It does not now however.
I want to recover back to the way the computer was when I bought it.There are no replacement CD's available.
How can I find a way to recover my HP back to the way I bought it?

According to this http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/genericDocument?lc=en&cc=us&docname=bph07104HP Customer care article its not uncommon. This originally started in Win95 with hidden system files that are vulnerable to corruption. It would have been an hidden/extra partion on the drive thus the sub program. You can try e-mailing HP and Try to get a full disk instead of the "access" disk that is the "recovery" disk, after all you did pay for the OS License.
