HP 722c ghosting….ugh

Hi,
I have an HP 722c printer that has but futzed with one too many times by my almost 1 year old. I read your top ten on HP printer problems and wonder if it’s just past it’s prime. It’s ghosting lettering and some images. I would like to repair it because i have a gazillion cartridges for this printer and the 23 and 45 cartridges aren’t used for the newer printers. HP no longer offers parts for this printer. Any suggestions?
