I have an HP Colorado 20GB external tape drive that connects via the parallel port. After installation of the HP drivers the Floppy drive stops working in Windows NT 4.0. If you boot from a WIn95 boot disk the floppy works ok.
Here is what I havedone so far:
1. Removed the HP software, this allows access to the floppy drive but of course no backup.
2. Reinstalled the HP. No luck with the floppy.
3. Updated the drivers for the HP. No luck with the floppy.
4. Disabled the parallelport tape drive in the device control panel. No luck with the floppy.
The Event Viewer does not show any errors.
Has anyone else experienced this problem ?
