HP content advisor

By r15kuhn ·
I want to disable the firewall in the HP content advisor so I can use the firewall in the windows pro security that came with Vista.
Both firewalls can't be on at the same time in order to access web sites on the internet. Any ideas?

You can do it from within the Internet Options by going to Tools, Internet Options (form within Internet Explorer) then click on the content tab on top, then make sure the button says Enable on it but don't click as that will enable it. If it says Disable, then click on it and disable it and sometimes will ask for the password that you set.
If you don't remember the password then try the link below and see if that works and restart your pc.

*I found this on Google, just so you know, I haven't ever tried this before.*

Hp content advisor

Thank you for your response but that was not the solution. The content advisor you mentioned goes with IE. The content advisor I'm referring to goes with HP . It is a health and safety guide that contains a firewall. According to HP it can not be disabled. But is that just HP saying that? I want to run Defender Pro firewall but can't with the HP firewall in the content advisor.
