I am having problems with printing to an hp deskjet 1220C printer. It was installed about a month ago. It runs off one computer (PIII-933) 256 MB RAM, 600MB free on C, several GB free on D; and is shared to 3 other pcs. All are running NT 4 sp5.The problem is often that when printing, the print job gets stuck, the pc that is sharing the printer gets hung up. I've looked through help and not found anything very useful. What kinds of things can I try to fix this problem? Thanks

How are your shares set? if you are spooling on each machine do all the machines have the latest drivers. If you are spooling to the Sharing machine how is that one set in the way of printing (i.e. starting printing as soon as last page is spooled)? Also have you tried to stop and start the spooler service when the que has become locked. I would look at these first then see if you can move the problem to another machine Mike
