HP G85 under windows 2000

When Installing HP G85 driver under Windows 2000, the CPU is always 100 % usage, and the PC is paralysed. My configuration is the following:
PIII 1.0 GHZ, 256MB RAM, 40 GB HD, Intel 815 EEA Mb. OS: Win2k SP2. The version of the HP G85 driver is: 2.50 (The latest).
