My HP carked it after a power outage a few weeks ago and I am currently trying to add it to an Acer PC, preferably as a primary HDD. The HP didn’t come with XP CD’s, but had a recovery partition.
When I tried to boot up with just the HP HDD the screen went black after the ‘POST’ sequence, couldn’t even access safe mode.
How do I get it working?
