hp 3015 connection via usb “error – printing”
I’m trying to install an HP laserjet 3015 printer to a pc with a usb connection. When I connect the usb cable from the printer to the PC, the PC detects the printer and installs it automatically and the HP laserjet 3015 appears as a printer in add/remove printers. All seems ok but when it asks me if I want to print a test page and I say “yes”, it immediately fails and the test page sits in the printer queue with status “error – printing”.
I have tried to install the printer both running the autorun.exe and by installing the PCL 6 driver manually. I get the same result doing both.
