I just bought an AMD notebook tonight where the speed was adverrised as 1.8 GHZ. When i boot up it only shows 350 Mhz. After a while it will show 701 mhz and sometimes 757 mhz. Does anybody know why I am getting these readings? Is this a sign of a major defect or is just like that with AMD?
