I almost always get an “out of paper” message when printing multi-page documents, even though the printer has a nearly full tray — and I use HP inkjet paper. At first the message appeared only occasionally, and pressing “ok” solved the problem. This evening it took me over an hour to print a 13 page color document. I’ve tried all the suggestions on hp’s website. Suggestions? I had the same problem with another hp photosmart printer that went down in the Katrina flood along with all my earthly positions. I’m about ready to toss the printer in the Mississippi River and never again purchase hp equipment — and I’ve been an hp user (mainframes, pc’s, laptops, printers, scanners, etc.) since before the days of the HP 110.
