An odd problem that I cannot get around.
I have setup several HP Deskjet printers (Different models) on several computers.
The printers are shared over a workgroup network.
All computers running Win98 or Win Me
When I print locally on any given printer the system resources drop dramatically after printing.
The following two items in the close program dialogue always appear
hpzstatx
Hpfstsc0
End the task on each and I always get a “not responding” message.
The resources are then freed up after I end the task.
Has anyone come across this and is there a way around the problem?
