My HP Deskjet 1000C printer began to print poorly, leaving the bottom half of the text faint or blank, even in “Best” print quality mode. Previously I had been using “Draft” or “Normal” mode just fine. Problem began after installing new HP 45 black ink cartridge. Returned that one for another new one. Have already aligned, cleaned and primed, using the driver services. The manual states that the printer is good for 60,000 pages, which it hasn’t come close to printing yet. Thanks for any help.
