hp printer problems

By SWill95582 ·
I have a HP Laserjet 1300n printer that when I print the paper on the left top corner is wrinkled. I would like to know if there is anything that I can do about this.

Have a look at the rollers.

Have seen this one before, where there is a bit of paper from a previous paper jam still stuck inside on one side of the final feed rollers, This lets the paper still pass through, but crinkles a corner on the way past.

Good Luck

I second that you have something in the printer that is catching that corner.

I have found everything from pens to pennies in printers.

I'll third the other two responses.

It probably is a small torn piece of paper and may be difficult to see. Many times partial disassembly of the roller assembly is needed to retrieve such a small piece.
