I recently Moved back to UK, I have HP Photosmart and I have been having problems for last 4 weeks.
1. My HP Ink Cartridges expired on 15 May 2008. and printer didn’t want to print even if I press continue over the warning of the Quality will not be Guranteed. even though it has ink in it. I was not even able to use the scanner or Card Reader.
2. I bought new compatiable HP Ink Cartridges for my Photosmart 3200. Printer put a new error messege incorect HP Ink Cartridges installed, but on the box it says it can be used on 3200.
I have contacted HP for this problem, now they have asked me ‘ Did you buy this printer overseas?’ this indicates that HP Ink Cartridges and printers are region locked.
This should be one more reason NOT TO BUY ANY HP Hardware EVER ——
