I am trying to reformat a HP Proliant xw460c Workstation.

It has a scsi drive so windows has to load additional drivers I am having trouble finding any that work for this here is the web site. I am loading windows 64 bit btw.

iaAHCI...

Doesn't the file name to load the drivers have to be iaAHCI? for it to be able to load? If so there is no such file in this download.

Yeah, that's the same one I keep finding.....

by Darryl~ Moderator In reply to the file is an executable

that's for a SAS controller....not SCSI.

What made me think of the "other" manufacture was that one I was using as a DB server...it had SCSI drives & I couldn't find them on the HP site....turned out they weren't IBM even though we ordered it from them.

Did the SCSI card come with the HP Proliant xw460c ?

by Darryl~ Moderator In reply to HP Proliant Driver Help

You may have to go to the card manufacture's website to get the driver.

All I can see are SAS & SATA drivers on the site you gave

Check back to when it was first ordered/received & see if it lists the name of the RAID controller or SCSI Card....it should give some clues.
